CAT C+E – Pallet Distribution – Night Drivers

Successful candidates will be expected to:

• Have held a car license for a minimum 2 years.

• Have a clean license.

• Have good communication skills and be able to demonstrate good customer-facing skills.

In-turn we will:

• Provide tuition and mentorship from both ROSPA trained driver trainers and experienced HGV drivers on various aspects of professional goods vehicle driving.

Remuneration package:

• Overtime for all roles is payable after 50hrs in a week where 5 days are worked; 40hrs in a week where 4 days are worked, 30hrs in a week where 3 days are worked, etc. Additional payments per shift are made when delivering or collecting ADR Goods.

• Full uniform and PPE Provided.

• 20 days annual leave plus 8 statutory holidays, with paid breaks.

Other benefits for driving staff:

• 1 x Driver CPC: Course costs, VAT and upload fees may be claimed each calendar year.

• Driver Medicals: Medicals for HGV licence renewals can be arranged and paid for by the Company or may be claimed as an expense.

• Career development opportunities:

• Further opportunities include fully funded ADR licence training, and refreshers may be provided subject to a good work record. Opportunities to undertake train-the-trainer courses, provide driver training/assessments are available for experienced time-served drivers.
