CAT C+E Driver

Whilst previous experience in a similar general haulage role would be preferred, full training will be provided for the role will by the business. The business operates various different transport operations and a willingness to work across all transport departments to support contract requirements would be preferred.

Successful candidates will be expected to:

• Hold a full UK driving licence with a Category C+E entitlement.

• Hold a valid ADR Card for all classes except tankers

• Have no more than 3 licence penalty points.

• Have a UK Digital Tachograph Card.

• Have a current Driver Qualification (CPC) Card.

• Have good communication skills and be able to demonstrate good customer-facing skills.

Remuneration package:

Overtime for all roles is payable after 50hrs in a week where 5 days are worked; 40hrs in a week where 4 days are worked, 30hrs in a week where 3 days are worked, etc.

• CAT C+E – Day Role: Annual salary = £41,178*. Weekly salary = £789.00*

• Day Rate = £157.77*. Overtime = £15.82 /hr.

• Includes daily meal allowance.

• Saturday Payment £46.80 + Hours Worked@ Overtime rate.

• Sunday Payment £88.40 + Hours Worked @ Overtime rate.

• Night Out Allowance of £29.14/night out (of which £5.00 is tax free)

• 20 days annual leave plus 8 statutory holidays, with paid breaks.

• ADR: £13.00 daily shift allowance paid when any ADR goods are transported by a suitably qualified driver.

Other benefits:

• One Driver CPC: Course costs, VAT and upload fees may be claimed each calendar year.

• Driver Medicals: Medicals for HGV licence renewals can be arranged and paid for by the Company or may be claimed as an expense.

• Full uniform and PPE provided.

• Fully funded ADR licence training and refreshers may be provided subject to a good work record.

• Opportunities to undertake train-the-trainer courses, provide driver training/assessments are available for experienced time-served drivers.
