Stiller Teams Up with ManHealth to Support Employee Wellbeing

Published: 05 Jun 2025

At Stiller Warehousing & Distribution Ltd, we know that our people are at the heart of everything we do. That’s why we’re proud to have partnered with ManHealth, a fantastic local organisation specialising in mental health support, to bring valuable resources and conversations directly to our teams.

As part of Mental Health Awareness Week 2025, we opened the doors of our three main sites to welcome the ManHealth team, who joined us to provide advice, encouragement, and a listening ear for anyone who needed it.

A Warm Welcome Across Our Sites

The initiative ran across three days, with sessions held at:

  • Monday 12th May – Head Office, Ridgeway, Newton Aycliffe
  • Tuesday 13th May – Contract Packaging, Grindon Way, Newton Aycliffe
  • Tuesday 13th May – Merrington Lane, Spennymoor

Employees were invited to drop by for an informal chat, pick up resources, or simply spend a few minutes connecting. For those who wanted a deeper, private conversation, the ManHealth team was there to provide one-to-one support.

Breaking the Stigma with Conversation

ManHealth specialises in creating open, supportive environments where mental health is treated with the same importance as physical health. Their support groups across the region provide men with safe spaces to talk, but their message resonates with everyone: no one should face challenges alone.

To make the sessions welcoming and approachable, the ManHealth team brought along wristbands, keyrings, trolley coins, leaflets – and even Stiller-branded stressballs – as small but meaningful reminders that help is always at hand.

Building a Culture of Care

Ahead of the events, posters were displayed on notice boards and emails were sent across the business to ensure everyone knew when and where to join in. The turnout was fantastic, with colleagues taking the time to chat, listen, and show their support.

At Stiller, we’re committed to building a workplace culture where wellbeing comes first. Partnering with ManHealth is just one of the ways we’re making sure our employees feel supported, whether at work or at home.
