Stiller Trials New Mercedes Electric Truck to Advance Sustainable Logistics

Published: 23 Sep 2025

At Stiller Warehousing & Distribution, we’re committed to driving sustainability forward in logistics.

That’s why we’re proud to be trialling a Mercedes-Benz electric truck, supplied by Bell Truck and Van.

What the trial involves

Over the coming weeks, the vehicle will be put to the test across a range of demanding routes, supporting Palletline work and runs for a variety of customers. This real-world trial helps us assess how EV truck technology performs against the diverse, high-performance demands of modern haulage.

Why this matters

We’ve already introduced electric vans into our fleet. This next step explores how we can reduce emissions even further while maintaining the service levels our customers expect, reliability, on-time delivery, and clear communication.

Part of a wider sustainability strategy

The trial sits within our ongoing strategy to invest in cleaner, more efficient transport solutions. We’re evaluating where electric HGVs can add value for routes, loads, and duty cycles, aligning with customer expectations and shared environmental goals.

What we’re measuring

  • Energy use and range performance across varied routes
  • Charging patterns and network accessibility
  • Driver feedback and operational practicality
  • Service impact and reliability metrics

A greener future in logistics is built step by step, and we’re taking those steps now.
